If you have ever had a technician visit your house to repair your HVAC, plumbing or electrical system, you will see that filling out paperwork is their least-favorite part of the job. GenAI is now being used to turn a technician’s brief job notes, which often contain cryptic shorthand and errors, into well-written documentation for customers and the technician’s back office. It can also handle translations for workers who aren’t native language speakers.
