Xerocon 2019 hit it out of the park

From colour-coordinated design and smoothies made with bikes to haircuts and a skate park, Xerocon 2019, was, by all accounts, awesome.

The conference is known for its out-there approach to events and, as a result, has quickly become one of the world’s most beautiful and innovative conventions for cloud accounting leaders in Australia, New Zealand and Asia.

Our team spent most of the time in between keynotes, chatting with accountants and bookkeepers about our two-way integration with Xero and how simPRO can streamline a number of their customer's workflows to solve problems around:

• Work in Progress management
• Inventory control
• Retention payments
• Costs management
• And lack of transparency across the business

We learnt a lot from the various speakers about the new levels of technology becoming available and the opportunities set to impact the bookkeeping and accounting industry.

Finally, Xero announced some major new features and connections that will, no doubt, make it even stronger, including:

• Single sign-on
• Advisor-powered app recommendations
• New bank feed connections
