simPRO Update: New changes to hourly rates and staff profile photos

As we gear up to finish the first half of 2020 on a high, we have some exciting new features to deliver. This release we are giving you the functionality to edit hourly rates on specific jobs and to add a profile photo to a field staff members profile. Also, headers on tables will now stick to your screen as you scroll down.

You can expect these features in release 20.2.6 to start rolling out into your simPRO system from Sunday June 14th!

Add Hourly Allowances to cost your jobs more effectively

The new Hourly Allowance feature in simPRO enables you to either add an hourly allowance to an hourly rate, completely override the regular rate, or both! This can be done on any specific job and to any specific staff member. This feature provides additional flexibility for any simPRO user to make hourly adjustments on a job.

Reasons to increase the hourly rate

Allowances may also be required for staff who have specific qualifications, are working in extra hazardous situations or due to holidays. This feature gives you an easy way to edit these rates and ensures you don't end up with any surprises when you do your bookkeeping.

Accurate labour costing

To accurately cost jobs, you need to know exactly how much you are required to pay your employees. The Hourly Allowance feature within simPRO will enable you to accurately calculate how much the labour on each job will truly cost you.

Add employee profile photos

We have added the ability to upload a profile photo for each user so your staff can easily identify colleagues within simPRO and you can increase security measures for your customers.

Employee photos in the Service Dashboard Map

It's now even more clear to see who is where with employee photos.

When an employee who is using simPRO mobile or Connect has added a profile picture you will now see their photo on the Dashboard Map. This provides a far more personal touch to your interface and greater ability to understand who is where at a glance.

Include field staff and contractor photos on notification emails

Provide a more personal level of service to your customers and increase security measures by adding the assigned field staff members photo to email notifications prior to the scheduled job time.

This gives your customers the peace of mind that they know exactly who will be coming on site and let them know who to look out for when they hear a knock at the door!

Frozen table headers

When you are looking at a table with lots of information, it's much easier to keep your place when the headings of each column stick your screen as you scroll down the page.

Now when you’re looking at tables of Customers, Sites, Contracts, Suppliers, Leads, Quotes, Jobs and more, all headings will be frozen and visible on your screen so you can easily keep track of what you are viewing!

What else is new in simPRO?
