After the last couple of months, it is clearly important to ensure your field staff have reliability on the road and when on site.
The simPRO Mobile release 5.4 will be available to Android users from Thursday June 18th, and Apple shortly afterwards and is full of improvements that will ensure your field staff can get information efficiently back to the office in real time.
Quick refresh, whenever you need it
We have now added the quick refresh functionality you love to all dates. This means regardless of what date you have selected in the Service module you can now see the spinning icon to give you the peace of mind that information is being synced.
No need to submit the recording time block
We understand that sometimes you don't always need to record a time block when you’re editing a job card, such as when you are filling out a job card after you have completed the job.
To make things easier we have added the ability to not submit the time block, so you can complete a job card and submit a job retrospectively.
Text formatting support in more places
In the last update to simPRO Mobile we added more functionality around text formatting. In this update we have now added text formatting support for Work Completed notes, Technician notes and Purchase Order notes. This means you can ensure you are communicating as clearly as possible in these areas by formatting the text to how you need it.
Insert Script button has changed to blue
It’s easier to find the information you need when text areas stand out, so we have changed the color of the areas you can type to blue.
From script to notes then invoice!
Now it's as simple as dropping your script into the Work Completed Notes, adding in the relevant information, completing the job and then dropping the Work Completed Notes script in the invoice description. And with all of these actions, you have the ability to format the text as you go.
Job name displayed instead of Cost Center
To ensure field staff can easily reference job information, we have updated simPRO Mobile to display the Job name instead of the Cost Center when viewing the site history. This is more specific to a project and gives you a better reference to the corresponding site history.
