simPRO electricians lit up the room at the NECA ACT Excellence and Apprentice Awards

Another day, another industry in which simPRO customers are kicking goals. It's not plumbers this time either, it's electricians!

The Hotel Realm in Canberra was buzzing on August 9th with electricians, partners and business teams all dressed in their best and ready for a night of fun at the NECA ACT Excellence and Apprentice Awards!

simPRO's own Brian Burke was amongst the attendees, there to celebrate the successes of our customers over the last year in the electrical industry, and he was certainly not disappointed.

We were blown away by the sheer volume of achievements that electricians running on simPRO were awarded on the night. It is clear that we are working with some truly innovative teams paving their own paths to success!

We'd like to extend a massive congratulations to simPRO user Fredon Electrical (ACT) for taking home a range of prizes in addition to receiving a commendation in Lighting for their recent project work with the National Library of Australia.

Fredon Electrical (ACT) won awards in the following categories:

• Commercial Small Project - for their Electrical and Comms work in the CSIRO Data 61 Fitout
• Work Health Safety Management System (Company)
• Industrial Small Project - for their work with the Canberra and Erindale College Generator Connection Facilities

They also were a finalist for the Commercial Large Project prize as a result of their work in the ANU Union Court Redevelopment - Kambri.

But Fredon wasn't the only simPRO user to be nominated as a finalist, receive a commendation or take home a prize.

There was a range of other achievements by electrical companies using simPRO, including:

• Rodgers Electrical, who took home the prize in Lighting for their work on the Canberra Light Rail.
• Spectrum Solar & Electrical, who was named as a finalist in the Commercial Small Project category for their work at the Shaw Vineyard Estate.
• Stowe Australia, who received a commendation in the Commerical Small Project category for their work at the ANU Union Court Health Co-Op, and the Voice/Data Communications & Audio Visual Small Project category for their work at Northrop Grumman.
• Pathway Communications, who was awarded the prize for Voice/Data Communications & Audio Visual Small Project as a result of their work at the Manuka Oval Media Centre
• Shepherd Electrical, who won the Industrial Large Project and Energy Efficiency and Environment prizes for their work at the Willinga Park Equestrian Centre Stockyards.
• Intravision who won the award for Security as a result of their work in the Parliament House Security Upgrade.

A huge congratulations to everyone who took was nominated, received a commendation or home an award on the night - we are so proud to be working with all of you, and cannot wait to see what you achieve in the future.
