We’ve reached the halfway point of 2020 (can you believe it?) and we are ready to drop some features to help keep your field service business organized for the second half of the year and beyond. A feature that we are really excited to share with you is the Asset Labor Planner. This new report will help those who use Maintenance Planner forecast how much labor time is required to maintain their assets across all customers.
We are also introducing a Priority Response tab to the Service Dashboard, and we have made an adjustment to the handy keyboard shortcut for timestamps! All of this is part of release 20.3.1 and will start rolling out into simPRO builds from Sunday, July 12th.
Forecast maintenance with the Asset Labor Planner
With the Asset Labor Planner it is easier than ever before to understand the hours required for asset maintenance ahead of time. This is a new forecasting report that is exclusively part of the Maintenance Planner add-on to simPRO and can help you ensure your business is more time and revenue efficient.
Clearly see the hours required to maintain your assets
The Asset Labor Planner will look for every asset service in your system and provide accurate long term forecasting on the labor required for the next 3, 6 or 12 months as opposed to only being aware of labor requirements for the next few weeks.
The bar chart and colored heat-map allows you to quickly understand which assets require more hours of attention and when.
A new part of the Maintenance Planner add-on
The Asset Labor Planner is one of the many benefits that you receive from the simPRO Maintenance Planner add-on. This add-on allows you to enhance your preventative maintenance service delivery with simPRO so you can improve your business’ level of oversight on asset maintenance.
Easily see priority jobs on your Dashboard
We have introduced a new Priority Response tab on the Service Dashboard next to Current Activity and Today’s Schedule. This tab makes it easy for schedulers to see at a glance the active jobs along with their response times on the dashboard.
Categorized into two headings
These priority jobs are neatly split into two headings, so you can quickly understand which jobs need your attention first. These headings are “Required”, which includes jobs that have not been scheduled, and “Responded” which includes jobs that require a response but have already been scheduled.
Date and time stamp
Do you know about the handy "name and date" keyboard shortcut in simPRO? Simply press CTRL + D to create a name and date stamp within any text box in simPRO. We have updated this shortcut to now include the time as well so that when you review a job, you know exactly when a note was made.
What else is new in simPRO?
With every release, there are slight improvements in addition to the main features we’ve included above. You can read the outline of all the enhancements made in the dedicated release notes for 20.3.1 in our Help Guide. This will be available from Saturday, July 11th AEST.
