Oliver Crossley is a qualified physiotherapist and yoga teacher, who came across the practice of yoga whilst teaching English at a Tibetan monastery in Northern India in 2011.
After losing his mum to cancer a few years ago, Oliver decided that he needed to find ways to cope with his grief without turning to alcohol or drugs, as many people do.
Over the last two years he has built up healthy coping mechanisms to manage his grief. This week, he chatted to Dan and Ed on TradeMutt’s 120Grit podcast about building healthy habits, being open to ‘feeling’ sadness and how stoic ‘blokes’ can learn the skills to deal with their emotions effectively.
So, get into a comfortable pose and listen to Oliver as he explains how the practice of yoga has helped him manage the challenges of grief and navigating emotion as a modern male.
